Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) RN needed in a healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized circulatory and scrubbing support for complex cardiovascular procedures, including CABG, MVR/AVR/TVR, robotic MVR, robotic AVR, aortic dissections, aneurysm repairs, root replacements, TAVRs, and laser lead extractions. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of cardiovascular operating room experience prior to assignment.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years of cardiovascular operating room experience; competencies in scrubbing and circulating for advanced cardiovascular surgeries.
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include assisting with both inpatient and outpatient procedures across various specialties, including ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology, oral surgery, neuro, robotics, vascular, cardiac, and thoracic surgery.
• On-call coverage is required, with a schedule of 1 to 2 nights per week and 1 weekend per month.
• Candidates should have the skill set and willingness to float to the Main Operating Room during periods of low cardiovascular census, as both units are within the same facility.
• Submission requirements include verifying competence in procedures and availability for the specified start date.
