Description

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift located at a teaching healthcare provider. This position involves working on the Diabetic Renal Unit (DRMU) for 12-hour night shifts, with orientation dates scheduled for 10/5, 10/19, and 11/2. The role requires flexibility to meet the scheduling needs of the unit and involves working at least one major holiday during the assignment period.

Job Details:

Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting from 10/19/2026 through 03/06/2027
Required Qualifications: 2 years of relevant experience, active VA or Compact license, BLS certification required
Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification, teaching hospital experience, charge nurse experience
Travel Required: Yes
Float: Float rotation may be required in some assignments, but not explicitly required for this position
Additional Information: Applicant must have prior travel experience for all Centra positions. Candidate must serve as a charge RN, which includes receiving the appropriate pay differential and training. Travelers should be prepared to work at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day). RTO requests must be included in the application packet at submission. The facility expects all team members, including travelers, to foster a supportive environment, especially when interacting with students and new hires. Assignments end on Saturday with limited RTO options, and the client can cancel up to 36 hours before an assignment due to census fluctuations.
