Job Summary
Medical Surgical (MS) Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift Location Not Specified. This position involves providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population within a general medicine medical-surgical unit. The role includes charge responsibilities, patient monitoring, and collaboration with ancillary support staff.

Job Details

• Qualifications: Requires prior travel (travel experience is required), minimum two years of relevant work history, and valid nursing license.
• Shift Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week.
• Position Duration: Start date October 5, 2026, with an end date of January 2, 2027.
• Responsibilities: Providing care for patients with conditions such as GI bleeds, COPD, CHF, diabetes complications, ESRD, dementia, TIA/Stroke, A-Fib, hypertension, sepsis, and vascular issues. May include charge responsibilities with appropriate training and pay differential.
• Clinical Environment: Support from lab draws, EKG techs, CNAs, and supply resources on the floor.
• Additional Information: All travelers are expected to work at least one major holiday, with potential assignments up to 20 weeks, to ensure staffing during holiday seasons. Must be comfortable working in a teaching hospital environment, interacting with students and new hires. Certification in Cerner preferred.
• Submission Requirements: Work history with at least 2 years of experience, explanation for any employment gaps over 90 days, skills checklist, and a copy of nursing licensure.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
