The role requires delivering high-quality post-anesthesia recovery services and supporting patient discharge procedures during scheduled shifts.

Job Details

Position Description: Seasonal travel RN position in the PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) at a facility with 15 beds and a staff of 35. The unit handles Phase I recovery and Phase II discharge procedures, focusing on patients post-surgery.
Required Qualifications: Current hospital PACU experience of at least 1 year, valid BLS (Basic Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Start Date: 10/05/2026
End Date: 01/04/2027
Additional Information: Candidates without PACU experience, BLS, or ACLS will not be considered. The environment demands an upbeat personality and the ability to thrive in a high-paced setting. Previous experience with EMR system Meditech is preferred. The unit values staff with the ability to adapt quickly and work efficiently under pressure.
