Job Summary
The organization is seeking an Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse for a position in a healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in a trauma and neuro-focused environment, with responsibilities centered around scrub and circulating duties in a busy surgical setting.
Job Details
- Position Description: OR RN PEN Suites, with an average of 30 cases per day, including general, ENT, neuro, spine, orthopedics, and robotics cases.
- Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA); 2 years of experience; Operating Room (OR) specialty; trauma and neuro experience; RN licensure; ability to scrub required.
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, with at least 36 hours per week. Shifts may include varied days, call rotations, weekends, and holidays.
- Additional Information: Unit utilizes Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Scrubs are provided. orientation includes department-specific training. The facility allows self-scheduling for shifts, and floating may be required only in case of extreme need within designated zones. Call response time is 30 minutes. Up to 4 shift cancellations per 13-week assignment are permitted.
