The organization is seeking a registered nurse specializing in Progressive Care Units (PCU) in an acute care setting. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care in accordance with professional nursing standards, ensuring high-quality and individualized care for patients across varied age groups.

Job Details

• Position Description: The registered nurse in this role is responsible for evaluating patients' physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs. The nurse reviews patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, formulates a plan of care based on assessment data and team input, and provides direct patient care while coordinating activities with other healthcare team members. Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, delegating tasks appropriately, and documenting patient responses and interventions in compliance with policies and regulatory standards. The role also involves participating in quality improvement activities, mentoring, and promoting excellent patient outcomes through safe, effective, and equitable care.
• Required Qualifications: Current valid RN license in practice state, BLS certification, and 1 year of clinical experience in an acute care setting within the past 12 months.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: This role may require providing care based on the best evidence available, participating in research activities, and interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to support holistic patient care.
