Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) in Arlington, TX. This position involves providing nursing care on a busy medical surgical unit with a variety of post-surgical and acute care patients. The role requires adaptability, strong clinical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week from 09/14/2026 to 10/26/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS certification; RN - medical-surgical or acute care experience; 2 years of clinical experience; location within a reasonable distance; and no specified minimum years of experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior medical-surgical or acute care experience; previous experience with a healthcare provider
• Additional Information: The unit uses Hoyer lifts, Sara Steady, and bladder scanners for patient care. The electronic medical record system is Meditech. Staff must be prepared for on-call requirements and floating based on hospital needs. The unit staff includes RNs, patient care technicians, health unit coordinators, and sitters. The patient ratio is typically 6:1, with an emphasis on caring for post-surgical and pain management patients, including those with CIWA protocols.
