Job Summary
The Graduate Nurse, Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a healthcare organization is responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, standards of professional nursing practice, and patient needs. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to promote optimal health outcomes in a clinical setting.

Job Details

• Position Description: This role assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients, utilizing specialized knowledge and nursing skills. The position is accountable for ensuring the quality of nursing services delivered and for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet patient needs.
• Required Qualifications: Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or equivalent, BLS certification, and related clinical training or education. No minimum years of experience required.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The nurse will provide patient-centered care, participate in interdisciplinary team activities, and document assessments and interventions accurately. The role may include supervision of staff and involvement in clinical improvement activities.
