Job Summary:
Telemetry Nursing in a healthcare setting involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with professional standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. This role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as providing health education and counseling. The nurse supports and restores life and well-being through direct patient care or consultation and delegation, executing medical functions, referring patients for further evaluation, and documenting in compliance with regulatory guidelines. The position may require flexibility to float to other departments within scope and could involve being on-call during scheduled shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN or Bachelors degree preferred) - Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice - BLS certification from the American Heart Association - ACLS, NRP, or PALS certifications as appropriate for the unit or service - Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (or equivalent experience)
• Preferred Qualifications: - Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
• Additional Information: - Perform assessments, health data collection, health teaching, health counseling, and monitor treatment plans. - Execute medical functions, document clinical care, and utilize resources effectively. - Ability to respond to changing clinical needs and support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
