Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse ER location unspecified. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with accepted practice standards. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as providing health education and counseling to patients.

Job Details

• Shift: Rotating, 3-12 hour night shifts, from 1900 to 0730
• Schedule: Rotating weekly shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing), valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC, ENPC, NIHSS, 1+ years of experience
• Skills: Therapy and treatment, nursing care, patient assessment, health teaching, health counseling, medical functions, consulting, supervision, documentation, registered nursing experience
• Additional Information: May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications; may be placed on-call during a scheduled shift.
