Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse, Labor and Delivery Department This position is located at a healthcare facility offering acute care services with approximately 356 staffed beds. The role involves supporting high-risk labor patients, performing obstetrical procedures, and providing comprehensive care for mothers and newborns, with a focus on safety, compassion, and clinical excellence.

Job Details

Position Description: Support the labor and delivery unit during night shifts, with an emphasis on caring for high-risk obstetrical patients and newborns. The role requires flexibility to float to mother-baby units as needed.
Required Qualifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRP certifications; valid state license (compact license accepted); 3 years of experience in labor and delivery; minimum of 2 years of patient ratio experience; charting system experience with Epic; experience with antepartum, high-risk labor, and neonatal resuscitation.
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting high-risk deliveries, familiarity with Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) procedures, and advanced clinical skills.
Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible working weekends, capable of supporting obstetric and neonatal procedures, and prepared to support patient education and postpartum care.
Submission Requirements: Must include response to prior work at a Providence facility (if applicable), and provide two references covering at least one year within the last three years.
