Description
Job Summary
L&d (Labor and Delivery) RN Multiple Locations. This position involves providing specialized care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. The role requires flexibility to float between units and facilities based on patient needs, with responsibilities including high-risk obstetrics and neonatal care.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: AWHONN Intermediate certification, BLS, and NRP required; at least 1 year of experience in labor and delivery nursing; valid state license (compact license accepted); minimum of 0 years of experience; must have a vehicle for the assignment.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/28/2026 and ending on 12/28/2026.
- Responsibilities: Providing care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum; assisting with high-risk deliveries; monitoring fetal status using external fetal heart monitor systems; administering medications such as magnesium sulfate and Pitocin; performing sterile speculum exams; assisting with vaginal and cesarean deliveries; managing postpartum hemorrhage; and other related duties.
- Additional Information: Floating to various units including labor, mother-baby, and antepartum; required to work three of five holidays; candidates must have a vehicle; possible requirement to float between multiple facilities on the assignment.
