Job Summary
Medical Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Multiple Sites. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to oncology patients across various units, with a focus on chemotherapy and biotherapy administration. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of floating between units as needed, ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Certifications: Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) chemotherapy/biotherapy certification required. Experience with Autologous Stem Cell Transplant and CAR-T therapy patients preferred.
- Education Requirements: Valid state license; compact license must be in hand at submission.
- Location Requirements: Ability to work across multiple facilities within a 50-mile radius.
- Years of Experience: At least 1 year of oncology nursing experience required.
- Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license, BLS certification, ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification, minimum 1 year oncology nursing experience, experience with chemotherapy administration, patient monitoring, and port care.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Autologous Stem Cell Transplant and CAR-T therapy patients.
- Additional Information: Must have reliable transportation, be flexible to float between units, and be available to work during holidays as specified. Candidates should be prepared to float to other units to meet patient needs, with the possibility of additional incentives for floating to specific sites.
