Job Summary
Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nurse (MS ONC) Location: Mission Bay. This position involves providing specialized care for patients undergoing oncology treatments within an inpatient setting. The role includes elements of case management, patient care coordination, and assisting providers with laboratory and diagnostic results.

Job Details

Certifications: CA Registered Nurse License, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
Education & Experience Requirements: 1 year of relevant experience, CA RN license in hand, BSN preferred, at least 1 year of pediatric oncology experience preferred, must have current CA license, minimum of 1 year of experience in medical surgical oncology setting.
Shift: Days, 8 hours. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Skills: Administration of chemotherapy, infection prevention, monitoring chemotherapy, neutropenic precautions, pediatric oncology, symptom management.
Additional responsibilities include case management, patient care coordination, triage of patient calls, and addressing patient care needs.
The role may involve floating to other UCSF Facilities.
Travel, reassignments, and orientation per unit protocols.
