Job Details

• Position: Surgical Technician (ORT)
• Location: Off the Oregon Coast in a small-town community known for outdoor activities and local charm.
• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Associate Degree or Certificate of Program Completion in Surgical Technology; relevant acute care experience preferred; National Board of Surgical Technologists or Association of Surgical Technologists certification preferred; CPR or BLS certification from an approved vendor preferred.
• Essential Functions: Verifies surgical procedures with consent forms and prepares operating room; passes instruments to surgeons; anticipates equipment needs; performs counts prior to incision closure; prepares sterile dressings and secures dressings after incision closure; checks supplies and equipment; sets up sterile tables; assists with room cleanup and preparation for subsequent patients.
• Additional Information: Assists in prepping rooms, maintains sterile fields, and helps with terminal sterilization of instruments. Performs other related duties as assigned.
