Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse specializing in high-acuity patient care in a healthcare facility setting. This position involves providing advanced maternity care, including fetal monitoring, patient education, and managing labor and delivery processes. The role requires flexibility to float to sister campuses as needed.

Job Details

Position Description: Labor and Delivery Nurse with 2+ years of L&D experience, prior travel experience, and proficiency in handling high-acuity patients.
Certifications/Education Requirements: BLS, ACLS, & NRP certifications required. AWHONN intermediate Fetal Monitoring class completed and passed are mandatory; AWHONN advanced fetal monitoring class and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification preferred. Degree accreditation must be on profile or applicant must have 5 years of experience.
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Call required: 12 hours in a 6-week scheduling period.
Clinical and Operational Details: Must be able to handle high-acuity patients; all RTO (Request for Time Off) must be submitted at the time of application, with no exceptions after submission. Demographic information (address, email, full date of birth, full Social Security Number, RN license number) must be loaded in the profile for confirmation. Floating: Floating rotation may be required, with travelers prioritized for floating and possible assignment to sister campuses.
Submission Requirements: Complete all demographic information at submission; documents must be submitted by the Monday prior to the start date.
