Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Los Angeles. This position involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients in the ER, supervising and directing nursing staff, and collaborating with other disciplines to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. The role requires independent judgment, critical thinking, and adherence to established standards of care.
Job Details
- Position Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in the Emergency Room, supervises and directs nursing staff, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to promote a safe and healing environment.
- Education and Work Experience: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Acute care facility experience preferred; Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor required.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Additional Information: Responsible for collecting relevant patient data, developing and implementing care plans, and coordinating discharge planning. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. All associates are required to receive all necessary vaccinations as a condition of employment and participate in E-Verify.
