Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor nurse position in a healthcare facility, available for night shifts starting September 21, 2026, and ending December 21, 2026. The role involves providing patient care on a medical-surgical unit, with experience in stroke care and proficiency with the Electronic Health Record system being highly preferred.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Certifications/Education: BLS (AHA) certification required. Must be willing to wait for license submission.
• Responsibilities: Caring for patients with COPD, pneumonia, abdominal pain, and post-surgical care, including thyroidectomy and overflow situations.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is required.
• Additional Position Notes: Submissions must include an unexpired copy of the candidates drivers license. Experience with strokes and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) or TPA administration is a plus. Epic charting system familiarity and travel experience are highly preferred.
• Unit notes indicate a flex capacity of up to 35 beds, with a daily census of 26-28 patients.
• Cancellation Policy: Client may cancel 2 shifts for 13-week assignments and 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks.
