Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a Critical Access hospital located in a community hospital setting. This role involves providing emergency care across a variety of patient age groups, including infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The ER RN will be responsible for interpreting dysrhythmias, managing multisystem organ failure, and handling a broad scope of emergency procedures. The position requires flexibility for variable day and evening shifts, with a strong focus on team collaboration and patient safety.

Job Details

• Schedule: Shifts are 12 hours, with variable day and evening hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: One year of experience in emergency room or similar acute care setting, valid state license (compact license accepted at lower BR), certifications including ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and experience in charting with Epic.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), care of ventilated patients, and familiarity with interdisciplinary support services such as radiology, pharmacy, and respiratory therapy.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position includes participation in orientation hours, use of specialized equipment such as Telestroke and Telepsych, and adherence to protocols for trauma, stroke, and sepsis alerts. Candidates will be expected to work three out of five major holidays, with all specific scheduling and RTO requests to be made at the time of submission.
