Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in a healthcare facility. This role involves working in a high-acuity surgical environment with a focus on trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic cases. The position is scheduled for night shifts with a need for flexibility to cover one night shift as needed, starting as soon as possible through mid-January 2027.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. The assignment begins on 10/19/2026 and concludes on 01/18/2027.
• Required Qualifications: At least 3 years of professional experience as an Operating Room nurse, current BLS certification, valid license in a participating state (compact license accepted), and experience with trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgeries.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with trauma Level I or Level II, experience working with Epic charting system, and experience in acute care hospital settings.
• Float: Float rotation may be required between similar units and facilities.
• Additional Information: Applicants must be willing to work a flexible schedule including one night shift per contract as needed. Candidates should be prepared to work 3 out of 5 major holidays and submit all time off requests at the time of application. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of professional operating room experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, or orthopedic surgery.
• Submittal Requirements: Must include responses regarding prior experience at any Providence facility and two references covering the past year.
