Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position located in the general surgical setting. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing various surgical procedures, including pain management, ophthalmology, endoscopy, colonoscopy, and vascular surgeries. The position requires delivering high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment on the first floor of a healthcare facility.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). An Associate's degree or equivalent education. 1-2 years of relevant operating room nursing experience. Located within a reasonable distance to the facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience serving a broad patient population with knowledge of general surgery, plastics, pain management, ophthalmology, endoscopy, colonoscopy, and vascular procedures.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) but not mandatory.
• Additional Information: Successful candidates will demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to evolving clinical needs. Scrubs will be provided, and the dress code policy must be observed.
