Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse specializing in perioperative care in a short-term acute care facility. This position requires highly skilled professionals capable of providing surgical patient care, managing perioperative procedures, and supporting surgical teams during various operative procedures. The role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment focused on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 10 hours per shift
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission), at least 1 year of OR nursing experience, and current certification in relevant clinical skills.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a community hospital setting, knowledge of EPIC charting system, and trauma level experience.
• Additional Information:
  • Must be willing to work 3 of the 5 specified holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day).
  • Candidates should include responses to whether they have prior working experience at a Providence facility, including location and dates worked, during submission.
  • References: Provide 2 references covering a 1-year period within the last 3 years.
  • Must be prepared to float between nearby sister facilities if required.
  • No requirement for travel experience.
  • Facility policy does not accept Nursys or background check hits; return staff after 3 months.
  • Candidates should not contact facility directly unless for an interview.
  • All time spent on modules during orientation is considered in non-billable hours.
