Job Summary:
Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing direct nursing care to residents, supervising nursing assistants, administering medications, and participating in quality assurance and care planning activities. The position requires ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining high standards of resident care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evening shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or graduate of an approved RN program, current BLS/CPR and AED certification, ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, and the capacity to perform all tasks related to nursing care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with longer-term resident care and supervisory skills are advantageous.
• Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for medication administration, charting, resident assessments, and contributing to discharge planning and quality assurance activities. Tasks include taking vital signs, supervising nursing assistants, and ensuring resident safety and confidentiality. The role may involve assisting physicians during treatments and examinations, and fostering a team-oriented environment.
