Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) registered nurse position located in a community hospital within Lake Havasu City. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a 16-bed adult and geriatric ICU setting, with an emphasis on managing conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, and Trauma. The position offers the opportunity to work night shifts in a facility accredited by the Joint Commission, serving as a regional referral center with a Level Trauma III designation.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week scheduled.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIH (National Institutes of Health) certification, minimum of 2 years of relevant ICU experience, and suitable travel experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations in critical care, and familiarity with CVICU protocols.
• Additional Information:
  • The ICU handles adult and geriatric patients with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2.
  • Primary responsibilities include managing patients with cardiovascular conditions, respiratory failure, stroke, trauma, and more.
  • Equipment includes Baxter Pumps, and documentation is maintained using Medhost EHR.
  • The unit operates on a trauma level III designation and is supported by trained staff including critical care certifications.
