Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position in an inpatient hospital setting. This role involves providing competent clinical nursing care to patients with complex conditions, utilizing the nursing process, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position is scheduled for night shifts, with a block weekend schedule available.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma, ADN or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing; licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC); 0.0 years of experience minimum
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing
• Additional Information: Inpatient float pool ICU position with a block weekend schedule available. The role requires proficiency in patient assessment, discharge planning, bedside point of care testing, healthcare standards adherence, interdisciplinary collaboration, patient education, safety management, complex problem-solving, effective communication, cost-effective care, public policy awareness, regulatory compliance, cultural competence, task prioritization, and research application.
