Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) in the specified location. This position involves providing perioperative patient care, supporting surgical teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role supports a fast-paced surgical environment with a diverse case mix, including general, orthopedic, obstetric/gynecological, podiatry, plastic, endoscopic, trauma, and DaVinci robotic surgeries.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license; Certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); experience with general, orthopedic, obstetric/gynecological, podiatry, plastics, endoscopy, trauma, and DaVinci robotics; at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Adult and pediatric perioperative experience
• Additional Information: The operating room RN demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for patient care. Responsibilities include managing supplies, case timeliness, communication with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing, assisting surgeons, and supervising personnel delivering patient care. This is a contract position created to replace an outgoing employee.
