Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) in a healthcare setting. This position involves providing nursing care to adult patients requiring medical-surgical services with telemetry monitoring. The role demands clinical expertise in acute care and telemetry management to ensure optimal patient outcomes during the assignment period.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: RN license for Illinois, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, Epic electronic health record experience, 2+ years of nursing experience, travel experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience specializing in neuro telemetry, patients with cerebrovascular accidents (CVA)/transient ischemic attack (TIA), subdurals, seizure disorders, surgical oncology (post-op recovery from procedures like Whipple, esophagectomy, colon resections), vascular surgery (post-peripheral angiograms, peripheral arterial disease with wounds, below-knee amputations).

  • Credentials are due Thursday prior to start date.
  • Position duration: Approximately 8 weeks.
  • Float to other medical-surgical units may be required.
