Job Summary:
ORT (Operating Room Technician) in a surgical environment. This role involves selecting and handling surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures, ensuring aseptic techniques are maintained, and assisting surgeons and nursing staff throughout the surgical process. The position requires adherence to safety procedures and provides support for efficient operating room operations.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 8 hours shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• End Date: 12/26/2026
• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, current basic life support certification, less than 1 year of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Graduation from a certified school of surgical technology or two years of operating room experience.
• Additional Information: The role involves preparing for surgical procedures, passing instruments, assisting with OR turnover, and following safety and infection control procedures. This position participates in emergency call rotations and supports the department's operational needs.
