Job Summary:
Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician in an OR setting. This position involves selecting and handling surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures, ensuring aseptic technique, and assisting surgeons and nursing staff throughout surgeries. The role is essential for maintaining sterile conditions and supporting efficient surgical operations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, current basic life support certification, and eligibility to register with State Regulatory Agency. No minimum experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Graduation from a certified school of surgical technology or two years of operating room experience. Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
• Additional Information: This position involves standing, walking, bending, and manual dexterity. Physical agility, reaction time, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds may be required. Candidates must adhere to safety procedures, including infection control, sharps handling, and emergency protocols. Participation in emergency call rotation is expected.
