Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) specialty in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with rotating shift schedules. The role requires flexibility to float between units and adherence to policy requirements during specific seasons. It is suitable for professionals with related acute care experience, aiming to deliver quality patient care across diverse clinical scenarios.

Job Details:

• Shift: Rotating, 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: 36 hours per week on a rotating basis
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• End Date: 01/16/2027
• Required Qualifications: WI Registered Nurse (RN) license, AHA or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS), minimum of 1.5 years of med-surg experience preferred; candidates with 1.5 years may be considered, related acute care experience will be evaluated, charting experience with EPIC, associate degree or certificate required
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Shift Requirements: 12-hour variable shifts, every other weekend and holiday, float to similar units including Howard Young, Tomahawk, and Eagle River, scheduled float rotations, on-call possible with low census, minimum of 2 hours callback
• Additional Information: During flu season, travelers declining flu and COVID vaccinations are required to wear masks at all times, per organizational policy. The position involves occasional pediatric cases, including ENT or orthopedic procedures, and may include low census unbillable hours.
