Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) for a healthcare facility located in southeastern Washington can expect a night shift position that provides an opportunity to deliver high-quality care to obstetric patients. This role involves supporting patients through labor and postpartum experiences within a well-equipped maternity unit, contributing to positive patient outcomes in a busy, family-centered environment.

Job Details

Location: Southeastern Washington, serving the Tri-Cities area, including Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland.
Facility Information: A regional teaching hospital with 111 beds, offering services such as Emergency Department, Family Medicine, Orthopedic/Joint Replacements, OBGYN, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Urgent Care, Lab, Diagnostic Imaging, and more.
Position: Labor and Delivery Nurse in the OB Department, with a focus on labor support, mother/baby care, triage, and postpartum care.
Number of Openings: 1
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours weekly
Weekend Hours: 48 hours per month
Qualifications: Must have current state license, at least 2 years of recent acute experience in Labor & Delivery, experience with fetal monitoring, ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.
Preferred Skills: Experience with OR circulation, mother/baby, triage (preferred but not required), and a flexible personality with good communication skills.
Additional Information: Volume includes approximately 110 deliveries per month; equipment includes EHR systems Centricity and Paragon. Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios is expected.

End Date: 01/02/2027
Float Requirements: Yes, to Mother/Baby units, with a focus on flexibility.
