Job Summary:
Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician in Lee's Summit, Missouri. This role involves supporting surgical procedures within the Main Operating Room at a hospital facility. The position requires active participation in OR activities, including vascular surgeries, with a focus on vascular skills and experience. Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting from 06:30 AM to 06:30 PM or 10:30 AM to 10:30 PM.
• Required Qualifications: No minimum years of experience required; certifications in surgical technology (CST or equivalent) preferred. Knowledge of Meditech charting system required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Strong vascular surgical skills and experience.
• Unit Specifics:
  • Location: Surgery Department in the Main Operating Room
  • Number of Beds: 5 ORs
  • Patient Ratios: 1RN:1
  • Staffing: 5-6 RNs, 6 Techs daily, 1 Anesthesia Tech, 1 OR Analyst
  • Equipment: Standard OR equipment
  • Documentation System: Meditech
  • Procedures performed: Orthopedics, Spine, Vascular, General Surgery, Colorectal, Robotic, Gynecology, ENT
• Certifications: Surgical Technology Certification preferred; hospital provides scrubs.
• Additional Information:
  • Position involves supporting procedures on the unit, with no float requirements specified.
  • No specific patient experience requirements.
  • Dress code: Hospital will provide scrubs.
