Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse position is located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within a busy cardiac catheterization lab, supporting procedures such as cardiac caths, Impella, Watchman, TAVR, ECMO, and pediatric interventions. The position requires a committed healthcare professional capable of functioning in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RN certification with BLS and ACLS certifications, with at least 1 year of nursing experience; 2 years preferred. Experience with cardiac procedures such as cardiac caths, Impella, Watchman, TAVR, ECMO, and pediatric cases.
• Skills required: RN must be proficient in sedation, circulating, monitoring, and medication administration. Experience with scrubbing cases is a plus but not mandatory.
• Support within the Department: Assistance is provided by the assistant clinical manager (RN), physicians, anesthesia/CRNA team, and RT.
• Technology/Equipment: Use of EMR systems including EPIC, Cupid, and Sensis, along with Siemens x-ray systems.
• Orientation: Standard medical center orientation followed by up to two weeks of lab-specific training.
• Floating: No floating requirements.
• Other notes: Scrub color will be provided; parking is free. Department culture emphasizes patient safety first.
