Job Summary
Emergency Room RN Nights, located in a level II trauma center. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy trauma environment, with shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The position requires experienced emergency nursing professionals to deliver acute patient care in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency department.

Job Details

• Position Description: Emergency Department RN working PM shift in a large level II trauma center with an annual volume exceeding 90,000 visits.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California nursing licensure, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS certifications, a minimum of 2.5 years of large trauma center experience, and at least 2.5 years of experience in a level II trauma environment.
• Schedule: Nights, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC certifications are required.
• Additional Clinical Skills: Arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, management of cerebrovascular accidents, general adult/pediatric emergency care, gunshot wounds, head injuries, ICP monitoring, interpretation of arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias, isolation precautions, IV vasopressors, management of dysrhythmias, neuro-trauma, ortho trauma, pediatric emergency procedures, procedural sedation, spinal cord injuries, IV insertion, STEMI procedures, stroke certification, traumatic amputations, traumatic brain injuries, triage, and other advanced emergency nursing skills.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC charting system and working within a large trauma hospital setting.
• Additional Information: Must have at least 2 years of experience in a large level II trauma center, and be certified in relevant emergency nursing procedures. Candidates will float within hospital departments based on census needs and must have laboratory licensing available.
