Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse position located at a healthcare facility in Richmond VA. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the interventional radiology unit, supporting various procedures such as biopsies, drain insertions, angiograms, and other imaging-related interventions. The position offers a dynamic environment requiring team collaboration and a positive, outgoing personality.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift with 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 10/05/2026 and ending on 01/04/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. No minimum experience required, but at least 1 year of experience is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Patient Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, Meditech electronic medical record experience.
• Float: None likely; possibly assisting in computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), or radiology.
• Additional Information: The unit typically has a staff of 10 members during day shifts, including technicians, registered nurses, and a scheduler/coordinator. The environment emphasizes outgoing and self-starting personalities who are team-oriented. Scrubs are provided, and the dress code is uniform. The RN is not required to scrub cases, and typical procedures include biopsies, drain insertions, angiograms, and other imaging assistance.
