Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse position located in Glenview, IL. This role involves supporting cardiac exams within a Rapid Consult Center environment, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications in preparation for cardiac scans, and communicating with patients to ensure they are ready for their procedures. The assignment requires a dedicated professional capable of maintaining high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; IL licensure verification; 2+ years of experience in a clinical setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in interventional radiology or cardiology settings; experience performing cardiac support procedures.
• Additional Information: The position involves supporting cardiac imaging procedures, patient preparation, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring. Submission must include a current resume, two references from an interventional radiology supervisor within the past year, skills checklist, and verification of IL licensure.

• Orientation: Includes unit orientation and a full week of initial training.
