Description
Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse position is available in a healthcare facility setting. The role involves providing specialized nursing care to high-risk obstetric patients during both labor and delivery processes. This position requires delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate care for mothers and their newborns during shifts scheduled overnight.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in labor and delivery nursing
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Valid Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in nursing or a related field
- Five (5) or more years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery (must have occurred within the last two (2) years)
- One (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years
- High Risk Obstetrics (OB) experience preferred
- Additional Information:
- Enable Skills-Based Hiring
- Must Have License & Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
