Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nursing in a community hospital setting. This role involves delivering high-quality, coordinated nursing care for emergency patients, adhering to established standards of care and utilizing the nursing process. The position requires supervising and directing nursing staff at various levels, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring a safe and healing environment for patients.

Job Details:

Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred, emergency care experience preferred, Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required, AHA-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or ARC-Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification required, AHA-Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or ARC-PALS certification required
Additional Information:
- Responsible for collecting relevant patient health data, analyzing assessments, developing care plans, and implementing interventions.
- Coordinates care delivery and employs strategies to promote patient safety and well-being.
- Participates in discharge planning and provides education to patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Delegates duties appropriately and collaborates with team members to ensure quality patient care.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
