Description
Job Summary:
The healthcare professional position is located in a medical-surgical with telemetry specialty at a healthcare facility. This role involves providing patient care on nights shift, with responsibilities that include managing medications and monitoring telemetry in various units such as medical-surgical, progressive care, intensive care, and emergency department. The candidate must possess strong telemetry experience and have at least two years of relevant clinical background.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: EPIC experience, minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a telemetry or medical-surgical setting, strong telemetry skills, must have been separated from a previous healthcare organization for at least 6 months
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working across multiple units including ICU, ED, and PCU, experience with caring for medsurg boarders
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Position involves floating between all MS TELE units, PCU, ICU, and ED units to care for medsurg boarders. EPIC electronic health record experience is required for documentation and charting.
