Job Summary:
Cardiology healthcare professional specializing in cardiovascular catheterization procedures is sought for a full-time position in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting. The role involves providing high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric populations during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures. The position emphasizes collaborative teamwork, equipment preparation, physiological monitoring, and documentation within a fast-paced clinical environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 0800-1630 hours, with call rotation every 2-3rd weekend; on-call required 1-3 times per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate from the American Heart Association (AHA); current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificate; at least one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Laboratory performing cardiac procedures or in a Critical Care environment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications or specialized training related to cardiology or cardiac procedures are advantageous.
- Additional Information: The role involves preparing and maintaining procedure rooms, managing supplies and inventory, monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, supporting quality improvement initiatives, and documenting patient care activities. Experience in cardiac catheterization or Critical Care settings is essential for success in this position.
