Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry nurses are sought for an assignment in a healthcare facility located in the region. This role involves providing specialized patient care on a 12-hour night shift, with weekend and holiday rotations. The position requires proficiency in epic documentation and interpretation of telemetry strips, with all nurses expected to be capable of reading and interpreting their own EKG strips. The assignment involves floating between all medical-surgical telemetry units as needed to support patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; recent acute medical-surgical telemetry nursing experience of at least 2 years; current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing; CPR and ACLS certifications; Epic electronic health record experience; Massachusetts nursing license required at the time of submission; must be separated from the organization for 6+ months and in good standing

• Additional Information: BILH coversheet required at time of submission. The unit is the 2 East Unit, and nurses will be floated between all medical-surgical telemetry units as needed. Experience with epic is required. Nurses must pass ECG/telemetry and medications testing during onboarding, with a passing score of 85% on each test, using the provided study guide. Only one attempt allowed per test. Testing is conducted by the organization via Zoom prior to acceptance, and nurses need to test within 48 hours of confirmation. Only medical exemptions are accepted for flu immunization.
