Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position in the labor and delivery department. This role involves supporting women through childbirth and is located at a healthcare facility providing specialized maternal care. The shift is scheduled for nights, lasting 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting from 10/06/2026 and ending on 01/26/2027. The ideal candidate will possess expert experience in sterile vaginal exams and be able to perform them independently, with a focus on high-risk obstetrical care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience as a Labor and Delivery RN, Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), American Women's Health Nurses Association (AWHONN) Advanced Certification, Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); located within 50 miles of the facility; valid compact license in hand at submission; must be open to working weekends and major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Preferred Qualifications: Expertise in sterile vaginal exams, ability to perform sterile vaginal exams independently, experience with Epic electronic charting system, high-risk obstetrical experience is highly preferred
• Additional Information:
  • Must have expert experience and be able to perform sterile vaginal exams in an independent manner without supervision
  • Must be open to working weekends and holidays, with RTO requests required upfront during submittal
  • Must be willing to float to mother-baby units if needed
  • RTO (Request for Time Off) must be included at the time of submission; late requests may not be considered
  • No on-call requirement
  • Will be scheduled for 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week through the assignment duration
  • Confirmation of previous experience at similar facilities or on similar contracts is required during submission
