Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse, Independence, MO This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy emergency department with 40+ beds and a staff of over 120 clinical professionals. The ER nurse will support the organizations commitment to patient-centered care, handling a variety of urgent and emergent medical situations in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Certifications, Education, and Experience: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification for Registered Nurses. Minimum of 1 year of related experience required.
• Additional Qualifications: Experience with cardiac monitors, EKGs, US, Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO drills, Lifepak, and other emergency equipment is preferred.
• Responsibilities include conducting IV starts, phlebotomy, cardiac monitoring and interpretation, and responding efficiently to urgent situations. The ideal candidate is outgoing, positive, and able to work effectively under pressure.
• No RTO restrictions or special scheduling requests are permitted.
