Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse specializing in obstetric care in a hospital setting. This position involves providing comprehensive care to high-risk and normal laboring patients during night shifts. The role requires a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with relevant experience in labor and delivery, supporting a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NNRp); 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years in labor and delivery; experience in high-risk labor and delivery within the last two (2) years is preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or a related field; five (5) or more years of recent experience in labor and delivery within the last two (2) years; high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years is highly desirable
• Additional Information: This role involves caring for high-risk obstetric patients, monitoring fetal and maternal status, and responding to emergencies with appropriate protocols. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in labor and delivery procedures, patient assessment, and neonatal resuscitation techniques.
