Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) in a healthcare facility located in an urban setting. This is a 13-week position providing direct patient care within a busy medical-surgical unit that primarily manages adult patients. The role involves continuous monitoring and management of telemetry patients and requires adherence to established clinical guidelines and protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license in the state of practice with certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA). Minimum of 0 years of experience, High School diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical-surgical units with telemetry monitoring. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Additional Information:
  • BILH coversheet required at time of submission.
  • MS TELEBOARDING PATIENTS IN THE ED.
  • Averaging 40 patients a day, waiting for inpatient beds.
  • Ratios are typically 5:1.
  • Day 1 tele testing required for these positions.
  • Will complete practice tests during onboarding - must pass within 2 attempts during compliance.
  • Must have experience with border patients in the ED - Please note this on the resume.
  • Must be separated from BILH for 6+ months, and in good standing, to be considered.
  • No locals (within 50 miles) will be considered.
  • Orientation is weekly, any color scrubs.
  • All time off must be listed at time of submission. Minimal time off will be considered.
