Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare organization. The RN is responsible for delivering safe, quality patient care by following established nursing care plans and supervising ancillary nursing staff. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and patient education within a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to first shift; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift for CIRH only; a minimum of two (2) years bedside clinical experience; no specific experience requirement listed for this position, assuming 0+ years; location requirements as needed; relevant nursing education and licensure in good standing

• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, develops individualized care plans, and initiates discharge planning from the day of admission. Maintains accurate documentation, collaborates with interdisciplinary team members, and participates in patient education. Responsible for supervision and delegation to ancillary nursing staff, ensuring safety procedures are followed, and contributes to a positive work environment. Assumes charge nurse responsibilities following orientation and pursues ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
