Description
Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) at a healthcare facility in Philadelphia, PA. This position involves assessing, implementing, and evaluating care for patients in the Labor and Delivery Department under the supervision of licensed physicians. The RN collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to provide individualized patient care, adhering to current nursing practices and departmental policies.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License; Basic Life Support (BLS); Multi-State Compact Registered Nurse License; 4 years of experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D)
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; 1 year of experience in clinical specialty of Labor and Delivery
- Additional Information: The RN directs nursing support staff in patient care delivery, ensuring compliance with nursing standards, policies, and procedures. Professional education, training, or additional certifications specific to the specialty may be required.
