Description
Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) Nurse position in a hospital setting. This role involves providing patient care on a telemetry unit with a focus on monitoring cardiac patients. The position is primarily based at a designated facility with potential to float throughout multiple hospitals within the region, supporting the organizations operational needs.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid WA state nursing license, BLS Certification, minimum of 2 years of relevant Telemetry nursing experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC electronic charting, proficiency in monitoring and interpreting telemetry strips, and familiarity with in-house security protocols.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to support multiple facilities within the region.
- Additional Information: Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with common healthcare organizations, including health systems like CHI and Dignity, within the past year. The role involves managing monitor tech responsibilities, providing patient care in Med/Surg Telemetry units, and working in a fast-paced ER environment. In-house security is available on-site. The unit manages patient flow with typical patient volumes of 8-16 per day and ratios of 4:1. This position requires the ability to wait for license submission, with a flexible start date of 09/28/2026 and end date of 12/28/2026.
