Description
Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Registered Nurse (RN) position on a dayshift schedule. Located within the healthcare provider's facility, this role involves providing specialized patient care in the cath lab and electrophysiology (EP) lab settings. The RN will perform emergency and elective angioplasty, manage therapies such as drug-eluting stents, electrophysiology procedures, and pacemaker placements, fulfilling patient, family, and community needs in accordance with current licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift, 10 hours per day, a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; BSN degree (highly desired); current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district; NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), BLS (Basic Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications; recent acute care RN experience (minimum 1 year)
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience specifically within a cath lab or electrophysiology (EP) laboratory, as well as proficiency in managing angioplasty and pacemaker implantation procedures
- Additional Information: The candidate must live at least 100 miles from the healthcare provider facility. Responsibilities include working in the cath lab or EP lab depending on department needs and taking cath lab call. The position initially runs from 09/28/2026 through 12/26/2026.
