Description

Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse position available in a healthcare facility. The role involves providing post-operative recovery care to patients, ensuring their stability and safety following surgical procedures. This position offers evening shift hours and an opportunity to work within a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details:

Schedule: Evening shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications:
- 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in nursing or related field
- Procedural Sedation Competency
- Minimum two (2) years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) environment
- Minimum two (2) years of clinical care experience with Pediatric patients, preferably in Emergency Room (ER), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), or Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) settings
- Minimum two (2) years of experience providing Procedural Sedation in Outpatient settings
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in Pain Management injection procedures
Additional Information:
- This assignment is scheduled to start on 09/21/2026 and conclude on 02/12/2027.
- Candidates must meet all licensing and certification requirements prior to start.
